PROTOCOL / PILOT

HoSt Value Co-Creation

A protocol for creating value together with greater clarity.

A shared structure for committed co-creation.

HoStVCC is House of Starts’ institutional implementation of VCC for situations where multiple participants deliberately commit capabilities toward a shared opportunity and need a fair structure for contribution, creation, accountability and value sharing.

  1. Frame
  2. Commit
  3. Create
  4. Settle
  5. Renew or Close

Commitment is mandatory. Documentation is proportional.

Clarity should match the risk, value and consequence of the work. If a simple introduction solves the problem, HoSt should make the introduction.

How it fits

HoSt’s operating model is Discover → Architect → Co-Create → Compound. HoStVCC provides rules of engagement where a collaboration warrants them.

An Opportunity precedes HoStVCC. A Co-Creation Project may use it; Build150 may use VCC principles or an arrangement where multi-party collaboration warrants it. A Start may emerge, but VCC does not require a startup.

Fairness comes from clarity about contributions and how value will be treated. Reciprocity does not mean equality. HoSt does not automatically acquire economics because it introduced parties.

An MoU is evidence of commitment, not evidence of successful co-creation.
